Free event for all veterans and their families at Oakfront Carriage in Portage County.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2023 from Noon till 5:00pm

The carriage can hold about 10 adults.
Limit of 80 riders for the day, so reserve your time slot today. We hope to see you there!
If for some reason its raining on the 21st in Lake Milton - Diamond area, due to safety concerns, we would have to cancel the ride and reschedule. It is OK to call or text the day of the ride to check.

3rd Annual Horsepower for Heroes Charity Ride 2023
Stinger Harley-Davidson sponsored our ride again - Saturday, August 19, 2023. We had raffle baskets to give away at several of their awesome "Bike Nights". Anyone buying a ride ticket received dinner after the ride and entry into a special drawings.
Registration started at 11:00am and left Stinger at 1:00pm. Raffle basket tickets available all day. Including items from Viking Bags, local restaurants and stores.
After the ride, we merged into Stinger Bike Night with LIVE MUSIC and lots of fun. Ending on our 2023 Charity Gun Raffle around 8:00pm.

This year we addd a gun raffle to our fundraising events with special thanks to Bulldog Armament. After the ride on August 19, 2023 (around 8:00pm) weheld the drawing.
Tickets were only $10 (a little extra if purchased online) with a limit of 999.

2nd prize - Glock G17 Gen 3, 9mm
3rd prize - Taurus 627 Tracker, 357

Horse Drawn Carriage Rides
Healing Heroes with Horses in conjunction with Oakfront Carriage Horse-Drawn Carriage Service. Oct 22, 2022 from 10-3 at 3903 Mahoning Rd, Diamond OH 44412.
We expanded our equine therapy programs this year to include a free horse drawn carriage ride event for veterans and their family.
Two rides happened each hour with around 12 riders each ride. The day's schedule was rides from 10 to 12, a break for the horses, then rides continued from 1 to 3. Snacks and Christmas bells for the children were also provided.
Oakfront Carriage is home to world champion Percheron horses and is famous for giving great horse drawn carriage rides. Many people have not had the pleasure of a carriage ride and really seemed to enjoy the experience.
This was a free event to veterans and their families.

2022 Fundraiser
Stinger Harley-Davidson has graciously sponsored us again this year for our annual Charity Ride and raffle. We reduced the number of tickets to 350 so your chances of winning were never better!

Veterans Charity Ride 2021
We had a great time on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the motorcycle ride to support and honor our Veteran Heroes. Great thanks and respect for the riders and participant, the staff of Healing Heroes with Horses, the staff of Stinger Harley-Davidson and our event coordinator Karen DeLuca. Excellent job everyone!
